In 1987, Belma Vardı and I had joined forces to bring some light and mirth to shut-ins. We developed a number of gospel songs. Some of them were all mine and the rest were Belma's lyrics which I set to music. We played for seniors, in jails, coffee houses, bars, churches and at First Nations' reservations. We decided to 'demo' our tunes. We recorded at Woodside Studios, Hamilton, Ontario. We did all the songs 'live' to 2-track with no overdubs or editing. After recording we decided to release the 'demos' in a limited edition run of 100 cassette tapes.
